Born in Dundalk Co. Louth Ireland in August 1988, my first equestrian encounter came at the ripe age of four while on holiday in the south of Ireland, as my first experience in the saddle it gave me a glimpse of what was yet to come.

A few years later I started attending a local ridding school. As my passion for these amazing animals grew my parents purchased a 128cm pony that went by the name of Grey Mist. Grey Mist gave me the opportunity to start competing regionally. As time passed the evolution was natural; after a successful period in ponies, at the age of sixteen, we then purchased a green 4 year old from Holland called `Trapatoni` (sourced by James and the late Shirley Kernan). Over the next number of years I was fortunate enough to be able to develop myself further at the Kernan Family Yard in Crossmaglen Co. Armagh gaining priceless experience from every aspect of the equestrian industry.

Highly determined, with the everyday support of my parents, I was able to create the right balance between riding and my education.

I attended Dundalk Grammar School, achieving my leaving certificate at the age of eighteen. During this time, I cultivated several other passions such as Soccer and Hockey.

After my time at the DGS I continued my studies to third level with a Bachelor in Civil Engineering at Dundalk Institute of Technology. In parallel, I had my first encounter with the European Showjumping universe by spending the winter holidays in Switzerland with Irish International Rider Niall Talbot. A fantastic experience which truly shaped my path to what it has become today.

Upon my Graduation from DKIT with an Honours in Civil Engineering, I was offered a place in Queens University Belfast to study a masters in Engineering. However, it was finally time to prioritise my passion and fight for my lifelong dream. I subsequently deferred my place in Queens University and moved to Switzerland as an International Rider at Niall Talbot's stables.

Needless to say I decided not to return for my studies and focused all my energy on becomming successful in the Show Jumping Industry.

After almost 2 years under the guidance of Niall Talbot, where I gained invaluable experience, I started my own business. The company's focus areas involved: riding and producing horses for owners and breeders, as well as training riders of all levels.

Following five successful business years both competing internationally and training, I decided to shift my focus to producing, training and selling horses for the Higher Level of Showjumping. In order to efficiently implement this new objective, in February 2017, I relocated to the "heart of the Showjumping Universe", Belgium - offering the ideal dynamic landscape allowing talent to flourish and thrive.

Based in the beautiful quiet town of Peer, we have built a strong, trustworthy reputation for buying selling and producing Quality horses. Moreover, we are present in the international ring competing succesfully and training riders up to international GP level.
